  • What an amazing end to the half term!

    Fri 26 May 2023

Year 6 have had an amazing time at Alton Towers on Monday and also had loads of fun over at Rowley Park yesterday 🙂

EYFS had a great morning on Tuesday with a Bridge Engineer from our STEM project 🙂

X-hail sessions this week for KS2 focused on the brain and its ability to 'rewire' - how amazing 🙂

Then we finished the week with our Reception Class Assembly.  It was amazing and we can see that you had all 'worked your socks off' over the last half term 🙂

Father’s Day letters have been sent out (paper copy), please look carefully at the CUT OFF dates as we wouldn't want anyone to miss out!  Please note: - money payable in cash to the Office

Term dates for 23/24 have also been updated on the facebook page, MM and also the website/school calendar.

Looking ahead to the first week back: -

INSET DAY on Monday 5th June 2023 and our VOYAGE Provision is also CLOSED on this day only.

    • After School Clubs as normal on Tuesday and Thursday
    • Reception Class have Stafford Sports on Thursday afternoon.  Children can come to school in their PE kits

Now for a well-deserved break to rest the brain and have lots of fun and make lots of memories

Have a lovely half term break - hopefully the weather will continue to be warm and sunny 🙂

See you all on Tuesday 6th June 2023 for the last stint of this academic year!!

A reminder that if you have a dog, please keep them away from the school gates.  A few dogs are rather large and don't seem to be under control!  They were jumping up children this morning which is totally inappropriate!! We don't want anyone getting injured.

Once again, thanks for your continued support.

Mrs B and the FL Team

CHANGE OF DATE: - Sponsored Event will now be held on 6th JULY 2023 😊

  • It's Friday!!

    Fri 19 May 2023

Lots of fun and games this week - but all sorted now!! 🙂

A little reminder before we share all the 'good stuff' that's been happening this week 🙂

Children need to arrive at school no later than 8.40am each morning.  We are getting an increase in the number of 'late arrivals' which means that your child misses up to 15 minutes of learning each day!  I appreciate that sometimes the traffic is busy and generally life gets in the way - but it seems to be the same faces that are arriving late each morning.  Please, please arrive at school no later than 8.40am.

So, a summary of this week: -

    • Year 5 spent the day at Forest School on Monday
    • Year 4 continue to make amazing progress in their weekly swimming lessons
    • Thanks to those Year 4 parents who attended the camp information session - we hope you found it useful
