School News!
Looking ahead to next week:-
Classes who are affected by the NEU Strike Action have received a letter notifying parents of this via MM. Work to do at home will be sent out to those classes on Monday.
Also, if your child is in receipt of Free School Meals and you require them to have a packed lunch then please call the office to order on either Monday or Tuesday. Sandwich choices are either Ham or Cheese. Collection of packed lunches from school on Wednesday after 11am.
Keep an eye out in the next few days for the Mothers Day Lunch letter. We will need to re-schedule one of the dates due to the strike action.
Have a wonderful fun filled weekend.
We'll see you all on Monday

So, a recap of this week:-
Looking ahead to next week:-
A reminder that we are receiving a few parental concerns over parents smoking and vaping directly outside of the school gates. Please be mindful of this and move away from the area directly outside of school. Thanks in advance.
We are also on the look-out for another Parent Governor – information has been sent at the beginning of this week. If you require any further information in relation to this post, please pop into the office. If you require a paper copy of the letter, pop into the office and we can sort you out with a copy.
A letter has also gone out today to our Year 4 parents in relation to camp. We need your feedback on this so that we can make a decision asap whether or not the trip (and cost of coaches) is a viable option!! If you haven't seen the letter, please nip into the office for a copy.
A MM has been sent out this morning in relation to the Teacher Strike Action. Classes affected by the strike will be notified next week and a learning pack/information will be provided.
Have a wonderful weekend and we’ll see you all on Monday
Mrs B and the FL Team 😊
Just in case we have any snow next week, I'll take this opportunity to remind you all of the Snow Procedure. We will endeavour to keep school open, however, in the event that we do need to close, a Marvellous Me and a Text To Parents message will be sent to everyone! If you don't have access to Marvellous Me, pop into the office for a code. 🙂
So this week:-

So it's the turn of our Year 1 and Year 2 children to spend time in the woods on Monday. Children need to wear old clothes, bring hats, scarves and gloves, along with a warm coat/waterproof and sturdy footwear or wellies. They have some lovely activities planned which are closely linked to their topic for the Spring Term 🙂
