We made it to the end of a very wet and miserable week!!

We are now into very autumnal cooler weather so please make sure children bring a coat to school as they do go outside for break and lunchtime.  Thanks for your co-operation.

We raised £93 for Jeans for Genes Day - thanks to those who supported us 🙂

A reminder also that if you shop at ASDA - please download the APP (info sent via MM and Facebook) as school earn pennies for any money you spend at ASDA 🙂

Year 2 enjoyed progressive sports on Tuesday

House Captain Assemblies took place on Tuesday.  House Captains were selected for each house and competition details will be shared soon - so watch this space

Year 2 also braved the wet weather over in Forest School on Thursday

Year 6 roles and responsibilities have been allocated and these will be announced next week in a separate Facebook post (after everyone has received their letter through the post)

We celebrated European Languages Day on Thursday and looked carefully at the diversity within each class at Flash Ley 🙂

Looking ahead to next week: -

Poetry Day for children on Monday - if you haven't already paid for this, please do so via Parent Pay

Year 4 swimming on Monday

Flu Vaccines for Reception - Year 6 on Tuesday

After School Clubs start this week - Tuesday and Thursday only until 4pm.  Please collect PROMPTLY.

If your child has been allocated a place on a club, you will have received a TEXT today notifying you of this.

Due to demand, if your child misses 2 of the sessions in the block, they will be removed from the club so someone else can take their place! 🙂

It's the turn of Year 3 for Progressive Sports on Tuesday afternoon - children can come to school in their PE kit (NO FOOTBALL SHIRTS)

It's the turn of Year 1 (morning) and Reception (afternoon) for Forest Schools on Thursday.  Children to come into school in old warm clothes and a change of study footwear (as it's very muddy out there after all the rain this week)

Poetry Assemblies (parents invited) on Thursday - a separate letter with more details has been issued)

That's it for now.  Have a great weekend.  See you all on Monday
