Another busy week!!!  Only 5 more gets ups to go!!! 🙂

So, this week: - 

• Alison Lloyd our Mental Health came to school on Monday lunchtime to chat with anyone who was a little apprehensive re: - September and High School 🙂 
• Year 1 and Year 5 enjoyed their time over at Forest School 
• Year 5 also enjoyed Progressive Sports boxing session on Tuesday 
• Roman Experience Day was a huge success for our Year 5 cohort.  They had an extremely engaging and educational day to enhance and bring some of their topic work to life 🙂 See the separate facebook post with an outline of the activities throughout the day.    If you haven't already paid for this, please do so by the end of the academic year 
• Year 1 and 2 had an enjoyable and educational day at Stafford Castle to enhance their topic learning 🙂 A shout out to the few parents who haven't yet paid for the trip - please pay before the end of term on Parent Pay. 
• Everyone got to meet their new class teacher on Thursday afternoon - children were also given a transition letter with key information for September on it 🙂 
• Year 6 presentation was held on Thursday and was a lovely celebration of our amazing Year 6's 
• Year 6 girls participated in a STEM Science afternoon on Thursday 🙂 along with another local primary school 
• Year 1 and 2 looked amazing in their KING and QUEEN outfits on Friday to finish their topic off 🙂 
• Last but not least, our Year 4 Steel Pan Superstars amazed us all with their new skill on Friday afternoon - thanks to those parents who came along to support them 

 

Staffing letter, uniform expectations for September and the results of the parental questionnaire were sent out via a paper copy on Monday 

Reports and attendance were issued on Friday 

 

So next week: - 

PLEASE NOTE ALL END OF YEAR CLASS PARTIES ARE NOW ON FRIDAY DUE TO THE SPONSORED BOUNCE ON THURSDAY 

PLEASE NOTE ALL CELEBRATIONS START AT 9AM 

• Celebration Assemblies on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday @ 9am.  If your child is receiving a trophy at one of the assemblies, you would have received a letter to attend the assembly 🙂 
• Class Teachers will be available after school on Monday for any parents have any questions in relation to the end of year report 
• Bouncy Castle Event on THURSDAY - all children to wear their PE kit and NO JEWELLERY AT ALL (earrings need to be - thanks for your support - please make sure all sponsor money is sent to school no later than Thursday 
• Class Party Days are on FRIDAY for all classes 🙂
• Non-Uniform Day on Friday - if children wish to wear PARTY CLOTHES they can 🙂 No payment needed for this 
• Ice-creams for everyone on Friday - donations welcome please - send in cash only 
• Break up and prompt collection at 3.15pm 🙂
