And just like that - the end of another week!!  🙂

Please note - DANCE and DRAMA club have now finished.  Please collect children at normal school finish time.

A big 'thank you' to Mrs Fenton for sourcing a World Book Day book for every single child who attends Flash Ley.  Amazing 🙂

Also, a 'shout out' to Mrs Locke and Mrs Hepple who went to collect the books

All books were issued to each child this week 🙂

  • Year 4 had a successful and productive swimming session on Monday

  • Year 2 continued to master their Archery skills on Tuesday

  • Selected Year 3 & 4 pupils represented our school at the Tag Rugby at Stafford Rugby Club.  A big thank you to Mr Davies and Miss Young for supervising and organising the event 🙂 Also to any parental volunteers - events like this wouldn't happen without your much-needed help 🙂

As this event was new to Year 3 and Year 4, it was a festival to enjoy and start to understand the skills and rules of the game.  All children did Flash Ley proud with good listening for the coaches and determination and perseverance towards having a go at the game.  Well done everyone - a very proud HT moment 🙂

  • KS2 enjoyed the MACBETH Performance on Thursday afternoon - if you haven't already paid for this, please do so via Parent Pay.  This performance is the foundation in readiness for SHAKESPEARE WEEK next week.  Watch this space

  • Reception soaked up the sun over at Forest Schools on Thursday - they all had an amazing time 🙂

  • We ended the week celebrating RED NOSE DAY.  Thanks to everyone who donated to this amazing charity.

A polite reminder that our FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM is the blue school jumper.

We've noticed we have quite a few children wearing hoodies all week.
