A polite reminder that on Progressive Sports Days, children are to come to school in School PE Kit please not fashion items, otherwise they will be unable to take part which would be a great shame!!

A quick reminder that on PE and Progressive Sport days, all jewellery needs to be left at home, in particular earrings.  Thanks for your continued support with this.

The end of another action-packed week!!

There is a lovely vibrant buzz around school.  Lots of learning taking place and friendships being made.  Our new families have settled very well into our FL community.  Thanks for making them all so welcome!

I spent a lovely morning on Tuesday interviewing our Year 6 children for key responsibilities around school.  These positions will be revealed next week - exciting dot com :)

We've also opened our new 'Discovery Den' which many children have accessed already over the last few weeks.  It's a lovely addition to our wonderful provision and gives children 'time out' to reflect or regulate their emotions along with doing individual or group targets outside of the busy classroom.  (see pictures on Facebook) :)

  • Year 4 were amazing in their swimming lesson :)   We just need to get a little bit quicker at getting changed after we exit the swimming pool.

  • Year 3 enjoyed Archery on Wednesday with Progressive Sport

  • Year 1 had a great day over at Forest Schools enhancing their curriculum topic :)

  • We finished the week by supporting Jeans for Genes - well done to everyone who supported this amazing charity

Looking ahead to next week: -

  • Year 4 swimming as normal on Monday - reminder all jewellery needs to be left at home

  • Progressive Sports on Wednesday is the turn of Year 4 so children can come to school in their PE kits

  • Year 2 Forest Schools all day - coats and a change of footwear required.  Old clothes to be worn as children will get muddy!! :)

Enjoy the weekend and we'll see you all on Monday :)
