A great first week back!!

It was lovely to welcome you all back to school on Monday and hear about all your half term adventures 🙂 

 

A big 'thank you' to those parents/carers who attended our parents evening on Monday.  It was lovely to see so many of you and listen to your lovely comments in relation to our school and the provision your children receive. 

We hope you found the information given useful and gave you an insight into your child's targets for the coming term. 

 

If you didn't manage to get an appointment, it's not too late.  Catch your child's class teacher to book a convenient time for a quick catch up 

 

A glance at this week: - 

• Year 6 Spelling PACT went well - the children, Mrs Fenton and Mrs Hepple loved having so many parents join us for the Spelling Fun.  More year groups to follow in the next few weeks 
• Year 3 had a great afternoon with Progressive Sports on Tuesday 
• Year 2 had a great day over at Forest Schools building on their topic work 🙂 

 

Looking ahead to next week: - 

• Maths Week all week 
• After School Clubs each Tuesday and Thursday until 4pm (collect from main Reception area)
• Year 4 swimming as normal on Monday 
• Year 4 have Chef visiting on Tuesday morning 
• Year 6 have Progressive Sports on Tuesday afternoon and can come to school in their PE kits 
• It's the turn of Year 5 for their Forest School Day on Thursday - children can come to school in old, warm clothes.  They must bring a change of footwear. 
• CHILDREN IN NEED - Friday 15^th November - THE GREAT SPOTACULAR EVENT!! 

Wear something SPOTTY, dress as Pudsey, wear pjs, onesies, or any other Children in Need merchandise - NON-UNIFORM in exchange for £1 to be donated to this very worthy charity 🙂 Donations can be made via Parent Pay direct to Children In Need.

 

CHANGE OF DATE

Film Night will now be on Monday 9^th December (more details to follow)
