Everyone has learnt lots, had fun and made lots of memories
So, this week at a glance: -
- We started off the week with a whole school assembly to introduce 'Story Telling Week'
- Year 2 spent the day on Monday over at Forest Schools making bread and burning their Fire of London Houses
- On Tuesday everyone spent time with our fantastic Story Teller. If you haven't already paid for this, please pay via Parent Pay £2 🙂
- Year 4 enjoyed an afternoon with Progressive Sport on Tuesday
- We ended the week with our 'Watch Me Learn' Maths Focus Sessions which were attended by lots of parents from EYFS and KS1 - we do hope you enjoyed yourselves.
- On Friday we also celebrated NSPCC Number Day
A big thank you to Mrs Fenton for organising the Book Fayre. We raised over £800 and have chosen over 45 books for our FL library/classrooms. We couldn't have achieved this without your amazing support - thank you all so much 🙂
The following letters have been issued this week: -
- Valentines Disco Letter (Year 1 - Year 6 only) 🙂
- Year 4 camp letter
Looking ahead to next week: -
- It's the turn of Year 1 to spend the day over at Forest Schools - children need to come in old clothes, a warm coat, hat and gloves and a change of footwear (wellies are ideal)
- Year 4 Swimming as normal on Monday
- Safer Internet Day on Monday - whole school assembly
- It's the turn of Reception to have a fun afternoon with Progressive Sports - children can come to school in their PE kit
- Non-Uniform on Friday £1 for school council fund
Have a great weekend and we'll see you on Monday to do it all again 🙂
