This week at a glance: -
- Year 1 and Year 2 had fun over at Forest School on Monday
- Everyone who attended Film Night had a great time - thanks to staff who stayed behind to man the 'cinema'
- Year 5 enjoyed Progressive Sport on Tuesday afternoon
- A big shout out to everyone who supported and attended the Easter Fayre – we have raised an amazing £765 for school fund. We couldn't have done this without everyone's support 🙂
- A big 'thank you to our parent volunteers who came along to man the Easter stalls. Very much appreciated.
- All classes spent time with our 'Dog Smart Workshop'' on Tuesday - this session provided an awareness of safety around dogs
- We finished the week with the Easter Bonnet Parade - there were so many fantastic entries 🙂 Well done to everyone who entered.
We have all said a fond farewell and good luck to Mrs Rogers who is moving on to pastures new. We wish her lots of success and happiness in her new role. I will be taking on the SENCO role in the Summer Term.
Looking ahead to after Easter: -
- Children return to school on Monday 8th April 2024
- Reception have Forest Schools on Monday. Children need to come to school in old clothes and a change of footwear (i.e., wellies)
- Year 4 swimming as normal - a reminder to leave all jewellery at home please so that it doesn't get lost
- Year 6 have Progressive Sports on Tuesday afternoon. This half term we are trying out 'Tri Golf' 🙂 Children can come to school in their PE kit
- On Wednesday we have the school photographer in school so ALL children need to come to school in their FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM please 🙂 Sibling photographs will be taken for those children in school only (i.e., Nursery through to Year 6)
- Dance After School Club on Thursday until 4pm (for those children learning their dance for the Gotta Dance performance)
Have a lovely Easter break. Hopefully we will get lots of lovely weather so we can all get out to explore 🙂
Take care, stay safe and see you all on Monday 8th April 2024
