Flash Ley Flyers - Kit Car
Flash Ley are delighted to announce that we are taking part in the Greenpower project this year!
The purpose of Greenpower is to challenge young people enthusiastic about science and engineering to design, build and race electric cars which can be raced at motorsport venues around the country. The Greenpower challenge uses the excitement of motorsport to inspire young people to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), with over 700 teams throughout the UK and more than 10,000 students taking part each year, from primary school age through to university.
We will be racing across other schools on Thursday 6th June 2025 at
Curborough Sprint Track, Netherstowe Lane, Fradley, Lichfield WS13 8EJ
UK.

Race day!
The children had really enjoyed the process of constructing the car, and racing it at the track.
It was a wonderful, extremely wet day, children enjoyed racing in wet conditions, they all gave a good account of themselves and enjoyed the day. We got second for the drag race.
