Shrewsbury Prison Nov 2021
As part of our curriculum learning on crime and punishment through the ages, we visited Shrewsbury Prison. A working prison up until 2013, it gave us a flavour into the old Victorian way of prison life compared to the modern style which we had to decide was fairer or not! We were very lucky as on this day the police sniffer dogs were having their assessments so we got to see what they did and stroke them too!
