Non-Fiction Week 2021

On Monday 1st November a discovery was made in our Forest School area on the field. 2 beautiful and mysterious eggs appeared in a nest. We believe they were laid over half term while school was quiet. 

All the children became detectives to visit the eggs and explore the area.

An expert came to visit and inspected the eggs to see what animal they could have come from.

By Wednesday the eggs had cracked open!! We got to re-visit the eggs to see if they gave us any more clues as to what the animal could be.

To finish off the week, all children became journalists and produced a report on the 'eggciting' discovery at Flash Ley.
