I can't believe we have reached the end of term 🙂  I can honestly say this year has been amazing full of so much learning, lots of wow experiences and opportunities for parents to come into school for us to showcase what we do best!!!  We have also absolutely loved it and are now buzzing from the Carnival Day this week and our amazing music concert this morning.  It was a lovely end to a great academic year 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳

We have welcomed lots of new families during our Transition Afternoon along with a few new staff as well 🙂 

We have also said a few 'goodbyes' to staff and children who are moving on to pastures new. 

I'd like to say 'good luck' and 'thank you' to both Mrs Edmondson. Miss Burton, Mr King and Mrs Linton who will be all be leaving us. 

Our celebration assemblies were a lovely reflection of the amazing year we've all had.   The friendships made, the knowledge retained and the fun we've all had along the way.   We hoped you enjoyed them as much as we did 🙂 we all love a good sing song as well 🙂

Our Annual Football Match against Year 5 and Year 6 was extremely close this year.  After Full Time it was 1 - 1 so then it was down to penalties.  Overall winners were our amazing Year 6s - a big thank you to Mr A who organised and was ref along with Mr Davies as second in command 🙂

Our Carnival Day in the words of so many children 'was the best day ever'.  The weather was perfect, magic show, Punch and Judy, circus skills, glitter n glam, bouncy castle, chippy lunch and a yummy ice-cream was a great way to end the term on a 'high'.   🌞🌞 So many happy faces and the field was buzzing with chatter and laughter as children made their way to each station throughout the day. 

I reckon this will become an annual event!! 🙂 Lovely FL family feel - children giggling, laughing all around our grounds x

Our Flash Ley family has gone from strength to strength this year 🙂 with so many amazing activities through the year 

A massive thank you for your continued support this year - we couldn't have done it without you and for putting up with our J2E reminder messages 😉🤣🤣

A special thank you to all my amazing staff for going above and beyond - every single day.  The role of staff working in school at the moment is currently changing with lots of new challenges particularly around SEND and inclusion 🙏

You all make Flash Ley such a special place to work. 

I'm a very proud HT right now 🙂

Now to relax, charge the batteries and enjoy the summer - cherish those special moments
