Weekly Summary 8 May 2026
We are just loving this 4-day week 🙂 It's flown.
Our annual sponsored event is taking place on Thursday 21st May (last day of this half term) - the Bouncy Assault Course which is a firm favourite with all our FL family. The children absolutely love it. Everyone has been issued with a sponsor form this week 🙂
Sports Day information has also been issued to you all so that you can book time off work etc if needed 🙂 We just need a nice day now - fingers crossed
- We started the week with our amazing 'Gotta Dance Performance' for you all - thanks to those of you who came along to watch 🙂
- Year 4 enjoyed skateboarding with Progressive Sports on Wednesday as part of our extra-curricular offer 🙂
- Reception had a blast over at Forest Schools on Thursday - it is so lovely to be out in the dry, warmer weather.
- Everyone enjoyed lunchtimes on the field and our sandwich children had the lovely option to eat outside if they wanted.
Looking ahead to next week: -
- SATS Year 6 (Monday - Thursday) - a separate letter has been sent in relation to 'breakfast' arrangements
- Swimming with Year 4 as normal on Monday
- Year 1 have Progressive Sports on Wednesday so need to come to school in their PE kits - legs need to be covered pls so leggings or jogging bottoms must be worn
- Year 1 also have Forest Schools all day on Thursday so need to wear old clothes suitable for the weather and also bring a spare pair of sturdy shoes/wellies/boots
Keep your eyes peeled next week for the 'after school club' leaflet as these will start straight after May Half Term.
Have a lovely weekend,
See you all on Monday @ 8.40am.
Mrs B and the FL Team 🙂
