Another week whizzes by 🎉🎉
Holiday dates for 26 - 27 have been sent out and added to the school website 🌞🌞
Homework for this weekend 🐤🐤 If you are attending our Easter PACT. A reminder that we supply the Easter Bonnet. You need to come armed with items to decorate the bonnet - these will not be supplied x we are very egg-cited to see your amazing creations in readiness for our Easter Bonnet Parade 🌻🌻

We started a 'cracking' week with our Farm Day for Nursery and Reception 🙂 which actually turned into a Farm Week x
A massive shout out to Mrs Hughes, Mrs Wooding and her amazing team who literally turned the disappointment of the cancelled farm visit in under 24 hours into an amazing farm day at FL. You are all amazing 🙂 Take a look on Facebook at the photos and what the day included 🙂
This week we celebrated 'Science Week'. It was filled with lovely activities to get children curious and bring the creative spark into our classrooms.
We have also seen the first of our many 'Mother/Aunty/Nan' brekkies. We hope you have enjoyed sharing a snippet of life at FL. More of these to come next week 🙂 The cut off for all the dates has now finished.
A reminder for those attending these events next week: - Younger siblings are not allowed at this event due to hot items. We don’t want any accidents. (This was made clear in the initial letter that went out). Thanks for your support in this.
Year 3 Progressive Sports was unfortunately cancelled. This was totally out of our control. 🙈
Year 5 & Year 4 enjoyed a very productive day over at Forest School enhancing their curriculum learning 🙂
We ended the week with our PHOTOGRAPHS - everyone looked super smart. These will be sent out to you when we receive them 🙂

No After School Clubs with the exception of Dance and Archery (last one this week)
Monday is a busy one
- Swimming for Year 4 as normal
- Non uniform for everyone in exchange for an Easter Egg for our chocolate tombola/raffle
- Mother’s Day Brekkie for Year 1 @ 9am (only turn up if you have booked and paid before the cutoff date which has now gone) 🙂 A reminder - NO younger siblings to this event. There will be hot food/drinks and we don't want any accidents!! This has also been highlighted on the original letter.
- Year 5 & 6 Easter PACT @ 2pm - 3pm - remember to bring items to decorate the Easter Bonnet - wait at the hall doors
Please note: - for all EASTER PACT sessions, children will be released at the normal finish time of 3.15pm 🙂
Tuesday is the turn of Year 5 & 6 Mother’s Day Brekkie @ 9am and then Year 4 Easter PACT @ 2pm
Wednesday is another busy one
- Year 2 Mother’s Day Brekkie @ 9am
- Reception/Nursery Easter Bingo @ 10.30am - please wait outside the hall doors to be let into school
- Year 1 Progressive Sports in the afternoon - children can come into school in their PE kits
Thursday
- Height and Weight checks for Reception to Year 6
- Our 'Friends of FL 'group are meeting for a coffee morning in the library at 9am - this little parent group want to raise much needed money for school and would love you to come along to share your ideas - you'll even get a free drink and a little treat 🙂
- Forest School is the turn of Year 1 in the morning and Year 4 in the afternoon - children can come to school in warm, old clothes and must bring a change of footwear
- Year 6 Parents SATS information session @ 3.30pm - this session will provide crucial information to prepare your child for end of Year 6 SATS 🙂
Friday
- Red Nose Day £1 contribution pls. Children can come dressed as a super hero or wear something RED
- SEN Coffee Morning @ 9am (focus on: - Understanding Sleep Hygiene) - come along for a natter and a cuppa 🙂
