Those pesky elves have certainly kept us all on our toes this week 🙂  

We have a number of families who are arriving at around 9am each day.  This is recorded as a late mark and more importantly it means that your child misses essential learning, i.e. EYFS/KS1 phonics session.  Interventions for children catching up in KS2 are also run between 8.45am - 9am - so if your child is consistently late - they will miss this very important intervention.   

Children need to arrive in time for the closure of the gates at 8.45am.  I appreciate on occasions, things happen to make us late, however, a few families are consistently late.  

FINAL REMINDER - We still have many families who haven't paid for the PANTO - which is a great shame.   Last chance to pay for the PANTO which is next Friday 12^th December 2025.  Please pay via Parent Pay - £4.50.  Payment needs to be made by Monday 8^th December at the very latest. 

Nativity Ticket Letter and KS2 Sing A Long Ticket Letters (Year 3, 4 and 5 only) have been issued this week - please get your request in for tickets before the cut off dates to avoid disappointment 🙂 Please note: - Year 3, 4 & 5 need to wear a Xmas Jumper with their normal school uniform for the Sing A Long on Monday 15^th December. 

So, this week was a busy one 🙂 

• We started the week with our Interhouse Xmas Competition - see separate facebook post with the winners 🙂 

• Year 4 had fun with Progressive Sports on Wednesday mastering the art of Fencing 🙂 

• Year 2 and Reception had an extremely productive session over at Forest Schools 

• We ended the week in NON-UNIFORM in exchange for BOTTLES for the Xmas Fayre - thanks to everyone who contributed - it's very much appreciated and will help raise valuable funds for your children 🙂 

Looking ahead to next week: - 

• AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS have now finished so ALL children to be collected promptly at 3.15pm - thanks for your continued support in this 🙂 

• Year 3 RAF Cosford on Monday (separate letter has been sent with the finer details) - children to be collected at normal time 

• Year 4 final swimming session for this term - it will be a 'fun' week this week 🙂

• Cut off for Xmas Lunch on Wednesday 10^th December 2025 - letter sent in relation to this last week - strict cut off due to ordering enough food for everyone 🙂

• Wednesday 10^th December - Xmas Fayre at 3.30pm - 4.30pm - please come along to support us 🙂 Lots of lovey items and games to play.  Please note: - Raffles etc will be drawn the last week of term to allow anyone who couldn't attend the Xmas Fayre to purchase a raffle ticket to do so - winners will be notified via MM.  Prizes to be collected from the School Office.   Collect children at normal finish time (3.15pm) then make your way round to the school hall. 
• Progressive Sports on Wednesday is the turn of our Year 5's.  Children can come to school in their PE kits for the day 
• Forest Schools this Thursday will be Year 3 all day 🙂 Children to come to school in OLD, WARM clothes and a change of sturdy footwear 

• Friday 12^th December is PANTO DAY - oh no it's not, oh yes, it is 🙂 For those who haven't yet paid, please do so by Monday 8^th December @ 3pm so we can prepare class lists 

• End of term reports will be issued on Friday 12^th December 2025 - so keep your eyes peeled
