Children will develop their understanding of numbers up to 100 (place value and comparing/ordering numbers), addition and subtraction bonds to 20, doubles and halves and explore the adding and subtracting of 1 and 2 digit numbers and two 2 digit numbers. We will also be learning about Money and exploring Multiplication and Division (2, 5 and 10 times table).
Maths Meetings will continue this year which will take place 3 times a week for half an hour and will cover a variety of Maths objectives to consolidate and secure the children's understanding.
In Maths, we are always developing different skills, techniques and problem solving strategies through various practical activities.
Any maths you can do at home with your child will really be extremely beneficial in helping secure their understanding.
