Learning at Home
On this section of our class page you will find all the information you need to access your home learning pack. Your child's class teacher will send you daily Marvellous Me messages to keep in touch and you can contact them through the emails below should you need to.
Please find below a suggested timetable of how you could structure your day.
9.00am Body Coach Wake up Shake up
9.15am Morning Maths- click on the Corbett Maths link for the correct day; you can either print it off or do the working out in your home learning book.
9.30am SPAG Daily- answer the questions for the correct day on the worksheet given out.
9.45-10.30am English- Work on your MYOn project/ complete a 10-4-10 reading/GPS task/ read your accelerated reader book and complete an AR quiz.
10.45-11.15am Spelling frame- click on link in English section and spend some time working on Spag.com tests.
11.15-12.15pm Watch a Maths Meeting and record in your home learning book. Spend some time on TTRockstars and Prodigy. Complete a 10-4-10 Maths task or work on your targeted Maths booklet.
1.15pm-2.15pm Complete one of the tasks set under the Topic section. This may take you more than one session to complete.
2.15pm-3.00pm Start a/add to your daily diary record in your home learning book about what you've done today, how you're feeling and anything else you wish to write in it. You can doodle/draw pictures/write in colour; however you wish to express yourself.
Don't forget you can do other activities that will support you both academically and mentally while you stay at home. This could include:
-Go for a walk
-Play a board game/Create a board game
-Upcycle an old piece of furniture
-Play in the garden
-Phone a friend for a catch up
-Re-organise your bedroom and create a box of things you could donate to charity.
You will need to check back into this page regularly for new links and videos to be uploaded.
Remember: we do require you bring all your work back into school so there's no getting out of it!
