As part of Father’s Day, on June 15th, we invited dads (or other significant male role models such as stepdads, grandparents, uncles . . .) to come to school for the afternoon.
We began our afternoon with a fabulous lunch, then after pudding we moved to the field. School supplied bean poles and string and the rest was up to the builders!
Lots of fun was had by all in very blustery conditions.
It was amazing to see the effort so many had gone to. Thank you very much!
We all love our Monday afternoons in the woods. We have been getting used to the new environment and exploring what delights it holds. We have been learning how to build our own shelters, how to communicate clearly with a partner, and to trust in our own abilities.
