So, the end of another year!!

We raised a staggering £1291.48 from the Xmas Fayre.  Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us.  Also, to those parents who offered to run a stall �� We couldn't have done it without you all.   A great way to end the year!!  

Money will be used over the year to subsidise the coach for any trips the children go on along other treats through the year.  

 

  • Year 1 Xmas PACT was well attended and we hoped you had a lovely time being creative with your little one ��

 

  • Our EYFS Sing A Long and our KS1 Nativity performances were just amazing - I'm sure you will all agree it definitely put us all in the festive mood!! 

 

Thanks to those who came along to watch the performances.

 

A special thank you to our EYFS and KS1 staff who have worked so hard with the children over the last few weeks to make sure the performances were perfect �� 

 

  • Year 6 had a fabulous time at camp (see many Facebook posts giving details of activities etc.) Thank you to Mrs Fenton, Mrs Hepple and Mrs Locke who supervised the children. 

 

  • Mrs Rowley and her team in the kitchen prepared a lovely Xmas Lunch for us all on Wednesday - thanks ladies - it was amazing as always ��

 

  • Year 4 and Reception children enjoyed their time over at Forest School on Thursday 

 

  • We finished our week with PARTY DAYS on Friday along with our non-uniform day �� Everyone looked amazing in their party clothes and had a fantastic time 

 

Looking ahead to the New Year 

 

  • Year 4 start swimming again on Monday 6th January 2025 
  • Year 5 have Progressive Sports on Tuesday afternoon so can come to school in their PE Kit 
  • Year 1 have Forest Schools on Thursday.  Old warm clothes required and a change of footwear needed please.  Gloves and a scarf would be beneficial as well. 

 

On behalf of the whole of the FL Team, we would like to wish you all a wonderful Xmas and a lovely New Year.  Thanks for all the goodies that we have received ��

 

We'll see you all on Monday 6th January 2025. 

 

Dates for the Spring Term will be issued in the first couple of weeks back after the break.
