SCHOOL DRESS CODE

We strongly encourage parents to adopt our school uniform so as to promote in your child a sense of pride and a sense of belonging. In practice we find that the greater majority of parents are in favour of having a school uniform and a very high proportion of pupils wear the uniform which is:-

For Boys
White shirt (approximately £4.99) with a royal blue V-necked school sweatshirt (£8.50 available from our school office; £9.50 for the largest sizes) or a royal blue jumper (approx. £8.00). Black or grey trousers (approx. £8.50). A red and silver striped tie (available from the school office priced £1.60).

For Girls
A white blouse (approximately £4.99), Grey Skirt knee length (approximately £6.99).  A royal blue school V-necked sweatshirt (£8.50 available from our school office;  £9.50 for the largest size) or a royal blue jumper or cardigan (approximately £8.00 from local outlets). A red and silver striped tie (available from the school office priced £1.60).

Summer Dress, blue background - white print or blue/white small check (approx.£9.00)

(N.B. It is not the policy of Staffordshire County Council Education Committee to make compulsory the wearing of any distinctive clothing or uniform but all pupils are required to attend school appropriately dressed.)

Unusual styles of dress, which may not be appropriate for school activities, are not permitted.

For reasons of safety no jewellery should be worn at school, however watches may be worn. In the case of ear-rings, only plain studs should be worn.

If parents are considering having their child's ears pierced we ask that the piercing is done at the beginning of the 6 weeks summer break.  In school time children are expected to do P.E. and must be able to remove their own ear studs without help.

To participate fully in physical education the pupil will need:-
