Ley Community Primary School, Nursery and Speech and Language Centre
Our Speech and Language Centre
|
|
Our
Speech and Language Centre
caters for up to 10 Key
Stage 1 pupils who have specific language disorders. Please note
that decisions about admission to the Unit are made by the Local Authority's
Special Needs Department not the school. The children are drawn
from an area of Mid-Staffordshire, many being taxied in, some from as far a field
as Stone, Rugeley, Cannock and Perton.
Most children attend as
full-time pupils but a small number of pupils are with us for mornings only,
returning to their local schools for the afternoon session.
